- A few thoughtful questions
- I often get inquiries from folks who visit this WWW site. Regrettably, many are easily answered by searching the site and happily SEARCH is working these days. In this context thoughtful questions are much appreciated such as those submitted by young Ben Hibberd, a student at Cowes High School on the Isle of Wight in the UK.

- Kite Flying Around Wind Obstacles
- As the wind blows across the landscape, the hills, the trees, and the buildings create variations in the wind's path and speed. As beginning KAPers our first experiences were in wide open places away from most of these types of wind obstacles. As our experience increases we move in closer to these same obstacles that we so cautiously avoided as neophytes. Frequently it is these very obstacles that become the subject matter of the really interesting KAP photographs that are taken.

- Photographer's Rights
- I found a very interesting read that details our rights when taking pictures in public places (as we always are when we're KAPing) in the U.S. I wish I would have been armed with this knowledge in past confrontations.
