- Lecornu étagère kite 1898
- The first cellular kite realized by Lecornu was the so-called " Etagere ", or " Shelf-kite ".
The kite consists of three rectangular boxes, one over the other, and the " H " shaped framing is spruce.
The sail is realized with cotton having a basis weight of 100 grammes per square meter. Thanks to its good stability, this kite was used by Lecornu for to lift cameras.
