World Wide Panorama — Water

Brooks Leffler:
The next World Wide Panorama will happen over the Summer Solstice, June 17 - 21. The theme this time is a piece of cake for kappers: Water.

Whether newbie or old pro, all panographers are invited to participate. Most submissions are cylindrical rather than bubble panos, and few have been submitted by kappers — but all are welcome. Here’s a good excuse to give it a try, and I’m happy to help with the learning curve if you need it.

    Hi Brooks,

This looks great. However I am certainly in the newbie class when it comes to panoramas. How do you do it with KAP. I read some where that you take two photos, one looking straight down and one straight up. Any pointers would be well received :)

    Cheers,
    Bill

    World Wide Panorama - Water

Over at the Kite Aerial Photography blog Brooks Leffler has posted about the world wide Panorama that’s taking place over the summer solstice. If I can figure out how to take a panorama using my kap gear I will give it a shot.

    The theme this year …

Today on Cris Benton’s discussion page, there’s a pertinent item from Yvan which might make it easier for other kappers to participate. Read about it at http://arch.ced.berkeley.edu/kap/discuss/_kapdiscuss/000015a1.htm .
